Our mission is to combine the absolute best
deer herd in the state, with the absolute best semen in the
country and to provide other breeders and preserves in
Alabama with the absolute best quality whitetail at the most
affordable prices. We are currently one of
the largest and most reputable deer breeders in the state of
Alabama.

Our
Foundation Herd...

We have over 300 deer in our total breeding program
and our foundation genetics are second to none. Since
2004 Hurricane Creek has been on a mission to assemble the
absolute best herd of deer that Alabama has to offer.
We have acquired deer from nearly every original breeder in
the state and in the spring of 2008 we purchased Jimmy Smith’s entire herd.
Jimmy had been raising whitetail for more than 25 years and
he is commonly known as the “Grandfather” of the deer
business in Alabama. Most everyone will agree that
Jimmy's herd was the best in the
state. In his day, there was no other herd in Alabama
that even come close to
producing as many 200 inch 3 year olds.
Some of the more famous & proven Alabama sires that can be
linked directly back to our foundation herd include Magnum (a
very wide and typical 226" 4 yr old), Black Jack (195
@ 3), Stickers (202 @ 3), Hurricane
(220'"@ 5 and a triplet to Cyclone 279 @ 5), Allota (185 @2),
Billy Bob (197" @ 2 with
13" brow tines) and Big Nasty (over 200" @ 2 and the
all time Alabama State record foundation deer scoring 318 at just 3 years old!).
We also have direct daughters from Big Al (Don Lewis
Buck), Muley (Don Lewis Buck), GR (Gary
Robbins buck), Odd Ball (206 @ 3) , Havock
(Terry Kennedy Buck), and many more.
Our yearlings and 2 year old bucks look remarkable
this year and many will reach top notch breeder
quality. Few will question that our foundation
herd has it all and is the best in the state!
We currently hold the record in Alabama for growing
the 1st 300+ inch deer in the
state...Big Nasty (318 1/8 @ 3)...and he is 100% pure
FOUNDATION!!!

Our
Artificial Insemination Program...

We have spared
no
expense in acquiring the absolute best Sires & Semen
in the country to be used in our laparoscopic
artificial insemination program. Our recent
partnership with Curt Waldvogel has put us miles
ahead of all other breeders in the state. We
artificially breed more than 150 does each year and we have created
some truly outstanding "Super Does" and "Breeder Bucks".
We now produce multiple 200" and larger yearlings! We have semen from more than 50 of the
nations most proven sires including Max, Rolex,
Shadow, Rolls Royce, Maxbo XL, Fear Factor, Maxin II, Silver King, Outcross, Jett

Whether
you want width, mass, tine length, typical or non-typical,
we can deliver! We are now selling Does, Fawns,
Breeder Bucks and Shooter Bucks, all with superior
backgrounds and pedigrees. If you prefer, we can
artificially breed your deer at our facility for a
very reasonable fee.
