At Hurricane Creek, we have thousands of acres that will be yours to hunt during your stay.  Regardless of the size deer you are after, you will be free to hunt ALL of the land including our "Trophy Area".  The "Trophy Area" is a very large and intensely managed high fenced preserve, containing some of the best whitetail in world.  We also have some of the best "Open Range" land in north Alabama that we manage to an 8-Point or better standard.  The best part about deer hunting with Hurricane Creek is that ALL hunts (Including Open Range) are fully guaranteed!  If your hunt is unsuccessful, you get a full refund and your only expense would be lodging and guide service ($250 per Day).  Where you hunt is totally up to you...You can spend your entire hunt in the Open Range or venture off into the Trophy Area for a "World Class" hunting experience.   Hunts in both areas are strictly limited and are subject to availability.  We suggest booking early to reserve your spot.  Hunts in the Trophy Area or Open Range start at only $995.  Lodging, Meals and Guide Service cost $250 per day and will include some of the best food you will ever put in your mouth!  A minimum 3 day hunt is required before the guarantee is in effect and if you book 4 days, we give you the 5th day free!

Hunting inside our "Trophy Area" is very challenging and exciting!  These deer are wild and they must be hunted hard.   The main difference in the Trophy Area verses the Open Range is that we are able to completely control the harvest rate.  This results in some very old and very large whitetails with superior genetics.  These deer can often times be very illusive and in some cases, very hard to find.  You should see deer ranging in age from 6 months to 6 years and you should also see racks of all sizes, including some that top 200 inches!  It is not uncommon to see multiple Boone and Crocket racks every time you sit in the stand. This is quality deer management at its best!  We let these deer reach full potential before we allow them to be harvested.  Don't worry about shooting the wrong deer...One-on-One guide service is included when you venture off into the Trophy Area and your guide will help you judge your deer in the field.  This is truly a World Class Hunting Experience!

Hunting the "Open Range" area is also a very challenging and exciting hunt.  We have some of the best whitetail land in our area and Alabama is known for having a very dense deer population.  We only allow 8-points or better to be taken from this land and we Guarantee that you will get a buck or your hunt is FREE!  We also have a very dense doe population and we encourage each hunter to take one doe as well.  We do allow each hunter to take a second buck from the Open Range at no additional charge, but it must be bigger than the 1st.  With an Open Range hunt you can expect to see a lot of deer and the occasional BIG buck.  There have been some "150 class" and larger deer taken in our area, but with the liberal harvest laws in our state, we suggest that you take any mature 8-point that presents an opportunity.  A 130 class buck or less is the more common trophy.  See the FAQ's page for more details on our Open Range harvest rules.

Guide Service is included with your stay at Hurricane Creek Lodge.  If you choose to hunt in the Trophy Area, One-On-One Guide Service is included.  With One-on-One Guide service, we will sit with you in the stand, help video the experience and help you judge the size of your trophy in the field.

Hunting in the Open Range is "Semi-Guided".  In the Open Range we do everything for you except sit with you while you hunt.  We will drop you off at a stand, give you a few tips, and pick you up at a time you specify. When you harvest a deer, just sit back and relax...we do all the work.  Our guides are completely familiar with the lay of the land, and with the habits of the deer.  We will do our best to ensure your success.  After all...we Guarantee it!!!

In all areas you will enjoy numerous stands located over food plots and along travel routes in the hardwoods.  We recommend hunting the travel routes in the mornings and food plots late afternoon.  Our entire staff will do all we can to get you the trophy you're after and make this a hunt of a lifetime.

Deer hunting is always unpredictable, however we are confident that you will be pleased with the game you see.  After that, it's all up to you!
